I recorded a transformer with a guitar pickup then broadcasted it from a speaker, then re-recorded this sound, waving my mic at the speaker (like a light sabre). Add a bit of chorus and voila, it's that light sabre sound. Could be a bit more beefy, you can add some sub or something, anyhows, hope some of yous get some use out of it anyways innit???!.

This is a recording of very low frequency hum of a steel mill. The sample has been low pass filtered. The main frequency is about at 25hz. The sound was recorded some distance away of the steel mill area, where it mixed with other sounds as a constant hum, which could be felt in body too at certain spots.

I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. Autumn forest wind. Heavy, fast gusty in tall pine trees. Some birds and raindrops. Soundscapes of natural white noise of moderate intensity. Some are stagnant or static and with few birds. The presents of the colourful red and yellow dry leaves that is still on the trees, creates the noise of the wind with rustling whispers. Is a constantly form of natural white noise that is always changing and evolving. These recordings is from my third attempt. I think it is very difficult to record the “spirit” and unique sound of the wind. This is pure natural wind sounds (no layering, no post-processing, no synthesizers).
